Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox, who studied for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. Lennox's budget was increased with a student stipend and part-time jobs. Lennox did not feel content with her performance compared with the other students at Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox became part of the group Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. She was the lead singer for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. That was also where she met Dave Stewart with whom she formed Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo first album Diva. It came out in 1993. The album was an enormous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top blues, soul and jazz tunes. Lepidoptera is a collection of four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. is the companion album to her art installation at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You go... The album is also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25, 1954. After minor success as a member of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s. Lennox launched her solo career by releasing her debut album Diva in the year 1992. It was the basis of many hit songs like Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. The album features covers of songs like"No MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with six studio albums solo and a compilation.
