Jennifer has always wanted be a multi-tasking star. In her youth she was a fan of a range different musical styles, but mainly Afro-Caribbean rhythms like salsa, merengue and bachata. She also enjoyed mainstream music , like pop, hip-hop and R&B. While she was a huge enthusiast of music, her fascination with the film industry is equally strong. West Side Story, a musical written by Rita Moreno (1961), was her main source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Alongside being a talented professional entertainer Jennifer became a Catholic schoolgirl. She attended for eight years at an Catholic elementary school named Holy Family, located in The Bronx, before graduating from an all girls prep school, Preston High School after four years of attendance. Jennifer was a star athlete during her time at school, and was a champion in tennis and track and field. In Castle Hill, she spent her youth in a 2 story home.
